DarkMatter & Khalifa University Launch CRA Initiative to Address Cybersecurity Threats

SI TeamDarkMatter Group, a fully integrated digital and cyber transformation firm, announces the UAE Cybersecurity Research Award (CRA) initiative. This award focuses on generating ideas to secure the world’s smart cities against the future cybersecurity threats.

DarkMatter Group in collaboration with its strategic partner, Khalifa University, invites the university students, graduate research assistants, researchers, and faculties from both local and international institutions. The invitees are expected to present ideas, which
could potentially advance the cybersecurity field in the era of smart and digital cities.

The UAE CRA initiative’s pre-proposal stage is currently open for the application until its closing which is scheduled on 30th August 2019. The selected applicants will be invited to present their ideas to the UAE CRA stakeholders and committee, who will evaluate the participant’s presentation. Post the evaluation, the shortlisted team will be invited to submit their full proposals in February 2020. All awards will be selected by a rigorous, three-stage merit review process, and announced in May 2020.
